Still not under the 170s! Grrr! Who’s fault? My fault. I need to buckle down and get my shit together.
Plan today: insanity workout after work and eat well all day (and the day after that and after that, and so on)!
The day I get under the 170s will be a glorious day my friends.
Sorry for being MIA! Work has been crazy, school has been crazy, and the boyfriend situation was crazy, all of these factors (i.e. excuses) have taken a toll on my health. Today was a new day and I made sure it would be good one.
Just left the office at 9pm and now im more than ready to relax for the night. Tomorrow I have class until noon but plan on working out hard tomorrow night.
60 days remain until my trip down south. I need to make these days COUNT!

Heading to class as we speak…not in the mood to sit through 3 hours of lectures!
Doing Insanity after work and I plan to sweat baby! I have goals dammit!
Day 15 - Week 3!

Sadly I didn’t reach my goal of 169…However I still feel positive about the progress I did make last week.
I look forward to the week ahead and plan on making solid progress.
My trip to Jamaica is in 67 days! I don’t have any other choice other than being a complete sexy beast, right?
Day 14 - end of week two
It’s the end of week 2 and 1 day post cheat. For my cheat yesterday I decided to have pizza. I had two slices and it was delicious! The bad part, my body has retained some water making me up a pound from yesterday. I’m not too discouraged, I am definitely going to recover from that fairly easily. Besides, the pizza was worth it, for my sanity’s sake!
Onwards and upwards! I’m excited to see how I progress this week!
Day 13 - so close but not quite there!
Weight - 170.4
Not only am I less than a pound away from seeing the 160s…Today is my cheat day! JEEEEZ. I don’t even want to cheat! haha…I also don’t know yet what I want my cheat to be. I am so excited with this number…If I don’t reach my mini goal this weekend I know for a FACT it can be reached next week. Exciting stuff my friends. See what kind of great things we can achieve when we put our minds to it.
It isn’t easy though. Every damn day presents us with obstacles and temptation. You just have to prove to be stronger than both!
FYI…just in case anyone is reading this and thinking I am only 13 days into my journey…I am not. I have lost a significant amount of weight (50 pounds) TWICE in my life since 2008. Sadly, instead of maintaining, I gained back all my hard work…twice.
THIS is the LAST time. I don’t know about you guys but i’m tired of being “just a pretty face,” I want it all. I want the whole damn thing; slim and strong legs, flat tummy, nice bum…I want it ALL. And why not?

I am soooo close to reaching goal 1! I hate that I’m so close and the weekend begins today! Ugh!
I have to gym dates with a girlfriend scheduled for Saturday and Sunday…so no excuses!
I also haven’t decided what I want as my cheat…I would love to go to a nice dinner with my boyfriend and enjoy something off the menu but who knows… I still haven’t decided!

Finally broke through 173. I’m working hard to get to the 160s. I hope hope hope to see it happen soon!
After a 40km bike again today, I don’t really have much to say aside from the fact that I AM EXHAUSTED!
With my legs still burning from all the squats yesterday, the wind against me the entire ride, and Kait biking way ahead of me…I am sooo tired. I barely had the energy to shower afterwards! I just leaned against the wall!
Even though I should be reading the 1000 pages of readings for my M.A. tonight, I am in a bathrobe on the couch, watching gossip girl and painting my nails! Hehehe…
Last but not least, I treated myself today…I bought an adorable pair of Michael Kors flats today! Beautiful light brown leather with a gold MK emblem on the top of the toe. Amaaazing!

GREAT day for exercise AND food was bang on as well!

I can hardly believe it’s the second week already.
As many of you know, when you’re focused on achieving something, whether it be health-related or career-related, every day is a challenge. Each day you make conscious choices that bring you a millimetre closer towards achieving your goal. And while each day feels like a struggle because the outcome isn’t immediate…eventually you do get closer to your goal and you start to actually feel accomplishment.
Just. Keep. Going.
With my workout done for the day, I have a concert to look forward to in 2 hours! If you haven’t heard Bon Iver before, I them out!
